Accountability

Corrections

Pre-release information about an unreleased game is provisional. When we get something wrong, we log it here rather than editing quietly.

How we handle errors

There are two kinds of change to a record on this site, and we treat them differently.

  • An update is new information arriving as expected — a claim moving from Speculation to Confirmed once Rockstar shows it, for example. This is the normal lifecycle of a record before a game ships, and it is not logged here. The record's verification badge and source link reflect the current state.
  • A correction is us having been wrong: a fact stated at a confidence level the evidence did not support, a misattributed source, or an error that would have misled someone. These are logged below, with the original claim described rather than erased.

We do not silently delete pages to make errors disappear. If a record turns out to have been based on something false, it is corrected and the correction stays visible.

Reporting something wrong

If you have found an error, email contact@leonidawanted.com. Corrections from readers are welcome, and pointing at the source that contradicts us is the fastest way to get something fixed. The most useful report has three things:

  • The address of the page, or the name of the record.
  • What it says now, and what you believe it should say.
  • Where you saw the correct version — a Rockstar page, a trailer timestamp, an official screenshot. Reports without a source are still read, but a claim only moves up a verification level when a source is recorded against it.

Every report gets a reply. A change that turns out to be a correction rather than an update is added to the log below.

Correction log

No corrections have been logged yet. This site is new; that is the only reason this list is empty, and it is not a claim to be error-free.
