Editorial Policy

Most GTA VI coverage blurs confirmed fact, plausible inference and rumour. This site keeps them apart, visibly, on every record.

Every claim carries a verification status

Each entry in the database — a vehicle, mission, character or location — stores its verification status alongside the claim itself, not as a footnote. Three levels are used, and the badge shown on a page is generated from that stored value rather than written by hand:

  • Confirmed — stated or shown by Rockstar Games or Take-Two in official material: a trailer, a Newswire post, the official site, or published press assets.
  • Evidenced — not officially stated, but visible in official footage or documented in credible reporting that names its own sourcing. Reasonable to publish, but not the same as confirmed.
  • Speculation — community inference, pattern-matching against earlier games, or unverified claims. Published only when clearly useful, and never presented as fact.

New records default to Speculation. A record is only promoted when a source justifying the higher level is recorded against it.

Sourcing

Records store the URL of the source that justifies their status, and that link is shown to readers. Where a claim rests on something that cannot be linked responsibly — leaked material, for instance — the source is described rather than mirrored, and the claim does not rise above Evidenced on that basis alone.

We do not republish leaked footage, screenshots or datamined assets. We will describe and link to reporting about them.

Imagery

Every image on the site is Rockstar's own published press material — screenshots and artwork from its official media pages — and each one carries a visible credit that links back to where Rockstar publishes it. Nothing is cropped or re-encoded to remove a watermark, and no leaked, datamined or fan-made image is used, even where one would fill a gap. A record without an official image says so rather than showing something else.

What we will not do

  • Present rumour as confirmed fact, or use a headline that asserts what the page then hedges.
  • Publish a database entry that exists only to occupy a search term. Pages that lack enough verified detail to be useful are withheld from search engines automatically until they do.
  • Copy another site's writing or reproduce its database.

Corrections and updates

Pre-release information about an unreleased game is provisional by nature, and a great deal of what is currently Evidenced will be revised once the game ships. Substantive corrections are logged publicly — see the corrections page — and records are re-reviewed against official material as it is released.

Independence

Leonida Wanted is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in contact with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. No coverage is bought, sponsored or supplied by a publisher. Where a page carries an affiliate link, it is disclosed at the point of the link, and the presence of a commercial relationship never determines what a record says.
